About the Role

As a CRM Strategist specializing in Email and SMS, you will report directly to the Head of CRM Strategy and lead retention strategy and execution for top-tier 8- and 9-figure DTC brands. You’ll own client communication, campaign planning, lifecycle performance insights, and testing across Klaviyo, Postscript, and other ESPs. This is a senior, hands-on role that requires deep retention expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate confidently with C-suite executives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end retention strategy across Email and Omnichannel for high-growth DTC brands
  • Own campaign planning, segmentation, automation, and testing across Klaviyo, Postscript, and other ESPs
  • Analyze performance metrics to uncover insights and build actionable recommendations
  • Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and data teams to execute cohesive lifecycle campaigns
  • Present strategies, results, and testing frameworks directly to executive-level clients
  • Build retention roadmaps and ensure delivery aligns with client goals and KPIs
  • Document brand tone, preferences, and segmentation guidelines for consistent execution
  • Stay current on platform capabilities, emerging best practices, and retention trends

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of CRM, Email/SMS, or lifecycle marketing experience for large DTC brands
  • Deep hands-on experience with Klaviyo and Postscript (Attentive or Braze a plus)
  • Experience with subscription platforms (Skio and Recharge) is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with mailers, loyalty programs, and mobile apps is a plus
  • Proven ability to manage retention programs for 8- and 9-figure ecommerce brands
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with cohort data and performance dashboards
  • Excellent communication skills and experience engaging with senior-level stakeholders
  • Must be able to work U.S. business hours
